    A Gift of Stock or Real Estate

A number of people have chosen to contribute appreciated assets, such as stock, shares in their mutual funds, or real estate. By doing so, you can deduct the full value of the contributed asset rather than just your basis (what you paid for the stock) and perhaps reduce or eliminate any capital gains taxes.

    Planned Giving

Include the Land Conservancy’s mission as part of your personal legacy through the commitment of a bequest or other planned gift.

    Donate an Easement on Your Land

To have a direct, immediate, and certain impact on the future of the Adams County landscape, permanently protect your land.

 Volunteer

The Land Conservancy is always seeking volunteers to assist with a variety of activities as well as to serve and lead the committees:

   Events

Generate revenue for the Land Conservancy via special events.

   Conservation

Acquisition strategies, landowner negotiations, management, maintenance, and monitoring of easements.

   Membership

Recruit and retain members.

   Communications

Promote the LCAC in Adams County and beyond.

   Planned Giving

Communicate with and aid those who desire information about giving to the Conservancy through planned gifts.
