On July 16 we settled on our second easement of the year - a gorgeous, 78-acre farm owned by Joan and Rowlen Huffman.  The 19th century farmstead, which has been listed on the Adams County Historic Sites Survey, includes a Pennsylvania bank barn that was more recently surveyed by Historic Gettysburg - Adams County Inc., and is included in its Historic Barn Registry.  The property is located along the Historic Conewago Valley auto tour, and its preservation helps to maintain this route as the scenic resource for which it was chosen.
