With only two paid staff members, we depend on committed volunteers to help us accomplish our mission. In 2015 our volunteers contributed more than 3,000 hours of service to the Land Conservancy and its community projects!

Volunteers are the heartbeat of the Land Conservancy, contributing their time and talents in meaningful ways, making it possible for us to keep our operating expenses low—in fact, more than 95% of every dollar we receive in donations goes directly toward our mission of preserving the rural lands and character of Adams County. Get to know some of our volunteers here, here, here, and here.

We invite you to join us in this fun and rewarding way to get involved in your community and help protect the beautiful rural countryside, woodlands, and historic spaces that make Adams County truly unique.

You can volunteer by helping out with one of our many events or serving on one (or more!) of our committees. If you’re ready to get involved, email us, call us at (717) 334-2828, or fill out this form and mail it in. We’re looking forward to meeting you!
